“Acirtémis” is an audiovisual music composition for violin. It was thought to be performed in a mirrored way generating a choreography between left handed violinist and right handed violinist.
Some questions that became apparent to the composer were: Do the Violin Bows collide with each other?, would forms or drawings be generated?, how symmetrical could these movements become?
Also, morphologically, the piece was composed in a symmetrical way, because the apparent "end" is only halfway through the piece, continuing from that point as if played from back to front.
“AcirtèmiS” has the necessary material to be performed live by two violinists (as in the original video), or by one solo violin, accompanied by music and the mirrored projection of the left violin.
